Richard Carroll Garvine 93 of Glenmoore
R. Carroll Garvine passed away on February 17, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.
Carroll was the loving husband to Ruth Guest Garvine and they shared 70 years of marriage.
Born on January 8, 1932 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late John L Garvine and Ethel Harner Garvine.
After high school Carroll went to work in the family plumbing business, Garvine Brothers Plumbing Inc. In 1995 upon his brother’s retirement Carroll, with Ruth by his side, formed R. Carroll Garvine Plumbing & Heating where he worked until his retirement at the age of 86. Carroll was known for his sense of humor, his hard work and dedication. When not working Carroll enjoyed going on long drives, shopping and eating out. For relaxation Carroll could usually be found on his tractor; his lawn always looked like a golf course.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Linda Sauler, Debra (Ron) Giancola, Diane Senn, Cathy (Mark) Culhane; grandchildren Richard Mornelli, Amanda Giancola, John Giancola, Michael Garvine, Craig Sauler Jr., Joseph Scaringi, Joshua Senn, Tyler Culhane, Sydney Culhane & Nolan Culhane; 6 great grandchildren; brother Raymond C Garvine; brother-in-law Jerry Guest and sister-in-law Janie Guest. He was predeceased by a brother Maurice Garvine and a sister Shirley McFalls.
Services will be scheduled at a later date to be announced. Burial will be private with the family. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
