It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne Bugar Barlow of Laporte, PA. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 3, 2025 after a long and fulfilling life with many wonderful memories.
Yvonne was born in Coatesville, PA on September 17, 1943, the daughter of the late Kathryn and William Bugar. She enjoyed reading books and doing crossword puzzles and was an AVON lady who loved her customers. She also loved animals, and had many furry companions over the years. When her kids were in school, she enjoyed driving school bus, especially with the band.
Yvonne was also a very devoted member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Coatesville, PA where she often volunteered her time making pierogis and working at the book store. Some of the most beloved memories with Yvonne were Sundays at church and afterwards when the family would have meals together. Yvonne was a beautiful, kind and loving soul. She raised her children and grandchildren in the ways of the Lord and found comfort in scripture. She loved her family very much and she will be greatly missed.
Yvonne is reunited in Heaven with late husband Robert L. Barlow Sr, her parents Kathryn and William Bugar, and her sister Ellen Bugar. She is survived by her children: Karen Sparano, Kathryn Goodwin, Robert Barlow Jr., David (Lisa) Barlow; grandchildren; Danielle Williams, Matthew Sparano, Nicholas Sparano; and great grandchildren Emilia, Gabriel, Faith, Castiel, Anna, and baby Aubrielle.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM with a time of visitation from 10:00 AM until the service at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Coatesville, PA. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making donations to the Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund of the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church 392 Charles St. Coatesville, PA 19320.
